Hello, my name is Laura. I have been working at Skribbles for a little over three years now. I attained my teacher certification through Tahanto Regional Middle/High School after 4 years of hard work and dedication to our on-site preschool. Once high school ended I knew that Early Childhood Education was the field for me and Skribbles was a perfect place for me. I began working here in September of 2004, in the preschool room. Soon, a position in the toddler room opened and since then I have worked with toddlers and can’t imagine working with any other age group.

I’m fairly quiet, calm and very much the snuggly type but, I have a fun, whacky side too which can’t hurt when you’re working with two year olds. I also take pride in being very creative, another strong quality to have as a toddler teacher. I LOVE doing art projects with the kids. The messier the better!!! The process is more important than the product. If the kids get messy, have learned something new and had a great time doing it then I have done my job.

 

     I live in cow town (that’s Berlin) with my Mom, Dad, and younger sister, Emily. In my spare time I love watching the Red Sox defeat anyone and everyone, watching movies, listening to music, scrap booking and spending time with my family.
